Flamingo Lakes Golf & Country Club opened 9 holes in 1985 with the full 18 holes open in March 1986 and was designed by John Condon. Some reports show that Ed Ramey designed the course, but he was the head pro when the Flamingo Lakes course opened. Flamingo Lakes Golf & Country Club is located within the gated community of Century Village at Pembroke Pines.
