The visionaries of Williams Island Country Club were brothers Jules and Eddie Trump.
The Trump brothers hired Charles Mahannah to design Williams Island Country Club and the course opened in 1966.
In 1995, the Williams Island Country Club was redesigned by Mark Mahannah and it played at 18 holes, par 72, 6821 yards.
In 2004, the Trump brothers sold the property.
