Carl Fisher's third golf course on Miami Beach was the Miami Beach Bay Shore Golf & Country Club which opened November 14, 1922 as one of 3 courses that belonged to the Miami Beach Golf Club.

The Miami Beach Golf Club - Miami Beach Bay Shore Golf & Country Club was designed by Willie Park and Lee Nelson.

By the mid 1920s, it was known simply as the Bay Shore Golf Course.

The Bay Shore Golf Course was redesigned by Herbert Charles Tippet in 1923 and 1933.

The US Army rented the Bay Shore Golf Course during WWII.

The City of Miami Beach took over the course after the war and it was known as the Bayshore Golf Course.

Arthur Hills and Steve Forrest designed the 2002 renovation and the course reopened as the Miami Beach Golf Club.
