Grand Palms Country Club - Grand Course Notes
Hollywood Lakes Country Club - East Course opened in November 1964 followed by the Hollywood Lakes Country Club - West Course which was open by 1966.
In 1988, Hollywood Lakes Country Club began its conversion from 2 18-hole golf courses into 3 9-hole golf courses. During the conversion process, there were always 18 holes open. The East Course was worked on first, starting in 1988 and the West Course was worked on starting in 1989.
During the conversion process, in January 1989, the Hollywood Lakes Country Club changed their name to Hollywood Palms Country Club. This was short-lived, because in February 1989, after hints from officials from the City of Pembroke Pines, the name was changed to Grand Palms Country Club.
The Grand Palms Country Club - Grand and Royal Courses opened in April, 1991 and were designed by Wade Northrup.
The Grand Palms Country Club - Sabal Course opened in December, 1991 and was designed by Wade Northrup.
