The Diplomat Presidential Golf Course opened in December 1962 and was part of the Diplomat Hotel and Country Club.
The Diplomat Presidential Golf Course was designed by Mark Mahannah as 18 holes, par 72, 6964 yards.
The course was sold and in 1998 Tommy Fazio was hired to redesign the golf course.
The Presidential Country Club layout was 18 holes, par 71, 6576 yards and reopened in April 1999.
The owner claimed bankruptcy in 2009 and the course has been closed ever since.
