The par 72, 7553 yard Colony West Country Club - Championship Course opened in 1971 and was designed by Bruce Devlin & Robert Von Hagge. In 1981, with the addition of a new clubhouse, the front and back nines were reversed and the course was shortened to 6648 yards par 70. In 1985, the course was redesigned to 7312 yards par 71 with the present yardage being 7258 yards.
