The Coral Springs Country Club opened on Thanksgiving Day, 1969 and was designed by Edmund Ault.
In 1970, the Coral Springs Country Club was renamed the Coral Springs Golf and Tennis Club and was the setting for the 1971 Coral Springs Open on the PGA Tour won by Lee Trevino.
Along the way, the golf course became known as the Country Club of Coral Springs - Golf and Tennis Club.
In May 2015, the Country Club of Coral Springs was closed for a redesign by Bainbridge Companies, South Florida Golf Renovations, and Ryangolf with an expected reopening in January 2016.
