Notes

In 1961, the Miami Springs Country Club decided to try an innovative layout and opened a new course called the Miami Speed-Links. The Miami Speed-Links was designed by Luke Morris with a layout of 9/36/2800.

The singular golf course's appeal didn't last long. Added to the course were 3 more greens so it was also a 9-hole executive style chip and putt course afterwards.  It was shut down shortly after 1964 in favor of a driving range, with City of Miami manager Mel Reese stating that "That speed-links thing isn't even a legitimate par-3 course...it's just a 9-iron and putter layout".
