The Boynton Beach Municipal Golf Course opened in 1984 and was designed by Bruce Devlin and Robert von Hagge.
The Boynton Beach Municipal Golf Course had 3 golf courses - Red, White and Blue. The Red & White courses were championship length and the Blue course was an executive par 30 course.
On October 1, 1999, the City of Boynton Beach changed the name of the Boynton Beach Municipal Golf Course to The Links at Boynton Beach. The Red & White courses were renamed as the Championship Course and the Blue course was renamed as the Family Course.
