Boca Lago Country Club opened in 1975 and was designed by Bruce Devlin and Robert von Haggee.
Up to 2008, Boca Lago Country Club had two 18-Hole golf courses named East and West. The back 9 of the West Course was closed in 2008, and remaining front 9 of the West Course was renamed the West Course. At this time the East Course was split into two 9's called the East Course and the South Course.
